Job Summary:

The Product Development Production Coordinator position works closely with the Product Design team to create marks and labels for all International Purchase Orders. This position directly works with International suppliers to submit the marks and labels needed for each purchase order. This position approves all marks, labels, and item information tagged before, during, and after production ensuring all is accurate before an order is released to ship. This position is also responsible for the packing quality of each order, working with suppliers and other members of the Product Development team to ensure the correct safe packaging is used and that the supplier is notified and asked to correct any issues. This position also works with the Wholesale Operations Manager on any packing related issues and improvements and coordinates the re-working of any marks, labels, and tags in the warehouse. This position also acts as back up to the Product Development Design Coordinator for the items set-up process, tradeshow sample process, and for final inspection of shipments once they arrive from the supplier into the warehouse.




Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creates marks and labels for all international Purchase Orders.
  • Uploads information to third party label vendor for each order and checks item, label, and vendor information for accuracy.
  • Submits all shipping marks and labels and third-party label vendor documents to the International Supplier for each Purchase Order.
  • Acts as point of contact for any vendor questions regarding shipping marks and labels.
  • Request all shipping marks and labels from International Vendor to approve before mass production to ensure accuracy.
  • Enters the date on the Purchase Order in NetSuite that the shipping marks and labels were submitted and approved.
  • Checks and approved the shipping marks and label and item information portion of the final inspection.
  • Enter the date the marks and labels portion of the final inspection is done in NetSuite and notify the Wholesale Division Manager the order is approved to ship from the supplier.
  • Ensure that the packing requested for each order is being followed in production by the supplier.
  • Coordinates with the Product Development Design Coordinator to address any packing issues from previous orders or issues that were not caught in final inspection and arise once they arrive in the US.
  • Coordinates with the Wholesale Operations Manager to bring to the supplier’s attention packing that is substandard or incorrect size or weight for the warehouse to effectively stock and ship.
  • Act as a resource for packing suggestions for Product Designers – Coordinate with the supplier on packing questions.
  • Completes any data entry changes to items inside of NetSuite as necessary (i.e.: class, description, packing information, status, price, photos, etc...).
  • Acts as point person in warehouse to work with Wholesale Operations Manager to complete any re-tagging needed (Prop 65, mark and labels, pricing, etc).
  • Updates Purchase Order in NetSuite with any pertinent information regarding marks and labels and packing that are important to share for the production or status of the order.
  • Unpacks, sorts, receives, and transfers new product samples to their appropriate showroom locations.
  • Tags all samples with showroom tags if needed.
  • Assists Product Development in creating Tradeshow Sample Revision Charts.
  • Act as a back up to the Product Development Design Coordinator to complete final inspection and documents for all production products that arrive into the Leeds warehouse to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Act as back up to the Product Development Design Coordinator to upload and maintains non-web photos from Product Development in NetSuite and RepZio.
  • Act as back up to the Product Development Design Coordinator for the completion item set-up for new product in NetSuite including photo uploads and assigning UPC’s to all items in the Data Driver.
  • Ships samples to China/India when needed.
  • Maintains a good working knowledge of The Royal Standard product line.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as necessary to support the Product Development, Production, and Shipping team.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years in a data entry environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication  
  • Detail Orientated
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Motivated and positive

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel
